NEJ GOLDDUST ALICE tall chestnut mare

Today I’d like to write about a mare that we have here on the farm for sale for other owners.

NEJ GOLDDUST ALICE     (Golddust Miner MC x May’s Sweetie)       1993

Alice is tall and sturdy enough for a long-legged man; but fine enough for a woman’s mount. She is at least 15 hands, no shoes or pads, and cut flat for pasture.

Alice has popular Beamington and Devan bloodlines up close.  She is a Dark Red Chestnut, but has a lot of black chestnut in her background.  She has thrown solid black foals bred to a seal brown stallion and a solid black stallion, and a red chestnut when bred to a red chestnut stallion.

NEJ Golddust  Alice crosses very well with our stallions.  Alice is a FULL SISTER to NEJ Golddust Emma.  Alice, Emma, and their dam, May’s Sweetie, are all here on our farm, and their produce has been popular with our customers and visitors to the farm. Their owners bred for black driving pairs and four in hand.  So far, Alice has given us a solid black mare via B-L Rhinestone Kid, our deceased founding stallion, and a solid black colt via Sleipnir Sequoyah.  In 2010, she delivered a red chestnut colt by Sleipnir Echo’s Finale.  Alice is open for 2011, and can come with or without a breeding to any of our four stallions.

Alice has good ground manners for the veterinarian & the farrier & for routine care.  She has been ground driven in tandem.  She has been ridden extensively around the farm and somewhat off the farm by professional trainers; and around the farm by our grandchildren as beginners.

She has been used as a lesson horse in a round pen; oval metal ring and rectangular paddock.

She is a proven broodmare…giving us the three excellent foals, two of which sold early on.

The first, Sleipnir Onyx, (by B-L Rhinestone Kid) is a very fine, solid black mare. S. Onyx has been SOLD to be a foundation mare for a breeding farm.

The second is Sleipnir Smoky Mountain, (by Sleipnir Sequoyah, a son of B-L Rhinestone Kid), a friendly curious black colt who has been sold to an excellent home, for a future full of great adventures.

The third is a gorgeous refined red chestnut colt named Sleipnir Resonance, by Sleipnir Echo’s Finale (Exquisite Sir Echo x Sleipnir Constellation, by B-L Rhinestone Kid x U C Spicy Lass). (a grandson of B-L Rhinestone Kid). He may be sold as a colt or may be  gelded. With small white facial markings, he is almost a perfect pair to Sleipnir Double Feature, a chestnut colt by Sleipnir Echo’s Finale x Playday Rebecca.

Alice is a pleasure to work with during breeding, veterinarian pregnancy checks and with her foals, immediately upon foaling and as days progress.   She is a good attentive mother, that trusts her people.

NEJ Golddust Alice is the ONLY NEJ Golddust Miner proven broodmare daughter ever offered for sale by the owners.  Alice delivers a long-legged, tall, elegant foal, matched by unique pedigrees and superior conformation.

She is offered with or without a breeding to one of our four stallions.

As always, a good home is a must!   She, like all the horses that we sell, is or will be, current on vaccinations, wormings, and with a negative Coggins. If needed, she will have an interstate transportation certificate.

Alice trailers well, and has been trailered interstate. She would make a good horse for a beginner rider in an enclosed environment, or a slightly more accomplished rider on trails or in the fields.  Her bloodlines blend well with all the “show horse” lines as well as a with a stallion of carriage or trail skills and temprament.

$8,500.00, Offers from a home that values her sought and considered.
