Sleipnir Echo’s Finale: (Exquisite Sir Echo x Sleipnir Constellation by B-L Rhinestone Kid) is a Chestnut stallion. Echo is 14.3hh, flat-hoofed, no shoes, and trimmed for pasture.
His Stud fee is $1,000.00, live foal guaranteed. He is our only stallion that is Not for Sale, as he is one of Constellation’s babies. We would consider making him available For Lease.
As a breeding stallion, Echo is not rank, or difficult, and is kind to his mares. Echo has had professional training at all stages of his life, and has been worked by amateurs, including our beginner teenaged grand-daughter.
Echo has a daughter, Sleipnir Echo’s Celebrity, and a son, Sleipnir Resonance, available. Another son, Sleipnir Double Feature, is under agreement.
Sleipnir Echo’s Celebrity: “Bree” is an absolutely gorgeous 2009 Dark Chestnut mare, with a cute white star, fine strip, and snip. (Sleipnir Echo’s Finale x Playday Rebecca). Just one glance at her pedigree and her photos, will confirm to you that she was bred to be a Class A national caliber show horse. Yet she is comfortable in a Herd situation. Rebecca brought familiar bloodlines in to our breeding program in a new manner, and has crossed well with S. Echo’s Finale. Like all our horses, they are both people friendly. “Bree” was born on the birthday of our wonderful deceased gelding family member, Sleipnir Selebrity. So, she was named for her sire, grandsire, and Selebrity. Bree has all the basic ground manners; is good for the farrier, veterinarian, and is current on vaccinations and wormings. She is 14.3HH, flat-footed, cut down for pasture, no show length, pads, or shoes. We sell our best, and she certainly fits that category. She is ready for Harness and Saddle training. The trainers who have seen her all want to get their hands on her. Her price will only rise with training. With John’s injury and long recovery period, we have not gone past the basics with her. Best to buy her now, or compete against her later. Her full brother, Sleipnir Double Feature, a 2010 chestnut gelding is under agreement. (Photo: “Bree” at 3 y/o & “D.F.” at 2 y/o)$7,500.00
Sleipnir Double Feature and Sleipnir Resonance are 2010 red Chestnut geldings, with similar markings, both by Sleipnir Echo’s Finale. They should mature in the 14.3 to 15 HH range. Echo and Rebecca are solid 14.3HH and Alice is 15HH.
Due to John’s injury and extensive hospitalization and recovery, we have not done ground-driving with them yet. They have had basic handling and are safe for the farrier and veterinarian. All of our Sleipnir Morgan horses are imprinted at birth. They have had a bit of round pen work with our harness trainer.
S. Double Feature (“D. F.”) is out of Playday Rebecca (Stoneholm Taliesin x Stoneholm Alameda). He is a bit darker brown than Resonance, but not as dark as his 2009 mare full sibling, Sleipnir Echo’s Celebrity (“Bree”). He has a good temperament and loves attention. He has national caliber capabilities; but he will also be able to adapt to various fields of interest for us, or other owners. Under Agreement.
S. Resonance (“Res”) is out of NEJ Golddust Alice, a full sister to NEJ Golddust Emma (Golddust Miner M C x May’s Sweetie). Alice has been the dam of two previous foals for us…both of whom went to forever homes where they are valued members of their herds. Resonance is more laid-back/easy-going than Double Feature.
NEJ Golddust Alice, is also available, also a Proven Broodmare, and Alice has been used as a various sized ring lesson horse for all of our grand-children. Alice has a late 2012 black colt, by Sleipnir Zenith, by her side, and is currently Open. She can be obtained with or without the black weanling colt, Sleipnir Kobayashi Maru, aka “Kirk”.
All Sleipnir Morgan Horses have their pedigrees listed on www.allbreedpedigree.com; where you can also do “hypothetical” breedings.
All of our For Sale Horses always have asking prices listed and available. All are current on their vaccinations and wormings, most have current negative Coggins, all have lots of basic ground manners – stand for the farrier, veterinarian, and grooming/handling by amateurs. Many are trained to ride and drive. All maintain a good hoof, are trimmed regularly and cut-down, trimmed for pasture. Only the horses currently stalled in training carry a longer hoof and wear a shoe. Most of the mares and geldings have been pastured together at various points in time. All the stallions have been kept in 200 x 100 open paddocks, as well as stalled at various points in their lives.
Every Sleipnir Morgan Horse Farm horse ever sold in our over thirty years of breeding has gone to a permanent loving home.
Our Spring Open House date has not been scheduled due to John’s recovery from his injury and subsequent illness; and our tornado related rebuilding work.
